J. Carr & Co. was founded by Jordan and Britt Carr, a husband and wife team from Long Beach, California.  

 

When we first moved in together, we quickly grew tired of our cookie-cutter IKEA furniture, but were unable to afford the high-end mid-century modern and custom furniture we wanted, so we began building it ourselves.  With this idea in mind, coupled with Jordan's background in design and construction, and Britt's background in art and business, J. Carr & Co was formed.

All the products we design and sell are entirely handmade by us.  When everything has become mass-produced, we believe it's important to keep the tradition of hand-made goods alive.  We're happy to help add a piece of this tradition to your home or be a part of the custom design and build-out process for your business.
